Work With Me

One of the most pervasive and harmful lies of capitalism is that some are better than and therefore more entitled to food, clothing, shelter, meaningful work than others. In other words they are more worthy of survival. We are obsessed by competition, comparison, and the acquisition of things, and measure someone's value based on the amount of money they have. This approach to being in the world is literally insane. For a species that prides itself on its intelligence we are behaving like self-destructive idiots. To quote Herman Daly, "There is something fundamentally wrong with treating the Earth as if it were a business in liquidation."

I'm looking for people who want to use their emotional intelligence (kindness, compassion empathy, respect for differences), intellectual prowess, resources (creative as well as monetary), and ability to collaborate to work on initiatives that tackle the many and complex challenges we're facing. Of particular interest to me are early childhood education, animal welfare, putting a stop to oligarchies, hunger, and climate change, and inspiring others through entertaining stories that harness the power of multimedia platforms and virtual worlds.
